THE START OF BLOGGING 

Why are we blogging ? Simple : Teacher told us to. In more polite words, we were assigned an assignment (what kind of sentence was that ?)  which was making a blog. The blog marks will be added to our final ICTL exam scores. We had to put all the multimedia things we learnt throughout the year. For example : text, graphic, sound, video and more. 

And I spent a lot of time, trying to find the right template that would represent us all. I guess this was it...

OUR NAME 

                                                                                             Sapphire...

                                             

One day, we were in class. Then, our teacher, who taught us Malay, wanted to try a new technique called Mestamu. It meant reciting a poem following the melody of a song without any background music. We were required to make groups. So, in the short time, we scurried around, finding partners (classroom ain't that big) . Miss H, Madame Detective, Detective Eifa, Sister A and I have known each other for quite some time. So, we figured that we ought to be in our own group. Thus, we sat down and the teacher asked for our group names. 

The class went in a frenzy.

                                         

Our group rattled off names we thought would be awesome. One by one, we rejected them. The teacher asked our name for the second time, by then, we settled on one that was given from an outburst : sapphire. And it stuck. Like a chewing gum on the back of the shoe. We were known as Sapphire. We got 5/5 on our first project together. It was awesome ! From that day on, whenever we were required to do something in a group of 5, we would stick together.

                                       

SUGGESTIONS THIS WEEK

1. Music
In terms of music, I recommend you try to listen to 'Live While We're Young' by One Direction. For the gals, I suggest you listen to 'Wings' or 'DNA' by Little Mix. For the old school people, let's remember those olden days by listening to Demi Lovato or Avril Lavigne or maybe Beyonce. To those with a Korean side, I heard that Big Bang is going haywire.

For the nature lovers, you can check out 'Put Your Hearts Up' by Ariana Grande. To the broken-hearted, take a look at Taylor Swift's 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' or Naomi Scott's 'She's So Gone'. For the lovestruck people, check out the English version of 'Be My Baby' by Wondergirls (or do you spell it as Wonder Girls).

2. Movies 
In this section, take a look at the movie 'Snow White and the Huntsman'. You'll see Kristen Stewart who co- stars with the Thor actor, Chris Hemsworth as the directors spin off the sweet first Disney Princess we knew into a tough, beautiful fighter. They'll stun you with the evil queen's thirst for beauty and you will never look at a Disney movie the same way ever again.

Speaking of the Hemsworths, let's take a peek on Liam Hemsworth who acts in the movie, The Hunger Games. It's one of the awaited movies because the book series has already collected a fanbase. Add the Josh Hutcherson fanbase and the J. Law Team, we get an overdose of fanbase awesomeness. What about the Avengers ? It's a movie about how a group of heroes are put together to stop evil. If you love Iron Man, this is your place to be. Watch as he dazzles the crowd with his comebacks.

3. Clothes and Make Up
This week most stars are going 'visible' for the cameras. They wear short cropped dresses with a deep neckline or shows a lot of skin. Vanessa Hudgens is going black and skulls for Halloween this year. What about the Little Mix girls ? They wear different coloured lipstick which accentuates their independence and Girl Power.

By the way, never be afraid to mix up colours. Try blue with pink, red with green and black with purple.

4. Books
Types of books to read.... Tough one.

Try the story called 'Hush, Hush' by Becca Fitzpatrick. A friend introduced me to it and it was magnificent. It's about a girl who is an offspring of a Nephil and a mortal, so she is a part Nephilim. Wait, was that right ? Well, I don't really remember so yeah... But it was good.

Next book : Angel Burn/Angel by L.A. Weatherly. It's about a  half angel who meets a guy who wants to assassinate her.

WHAT NEXT ?

I'm not quite sure.
Maybe we'll keep this blog after the exam. Besides, we spent loads of time on it. So, it'll be such a  waste if we delete it.
